Hindu Customs and Beliefs

Dear Children,

I was not brought up in India.

In the school that I attended abroad, I was the only Hindu girl in my class. When my friends asked me, about why Hindus worshipped cows, monkeys and elephant gods. I had no answer to give them, as I did not know much about the Indian Religions and customs.

When I returned to India, I asked and heard and read until I was satisfied with the explanations i got. I wrote the book: Hindu Customs and Beliefs.

Even though that book is quite easy to understand, I am going to make it simpler for you.
