urvarukameva bandhanaanito moksheya
maamrutaha"
3) Katyaayini Mahaa Maayey
Mahaa Yoginya Dheeshvaree
Nanda Gopa sutam
Devi patim mey
kurutey namaha
In the above Mantra one prays for a very lovable and understanding
husband.
Recite it 5 times daily at
least.
Once you know it by heart, recite it all the time.
Maybe Krishna will come in
human form for you.
Q What is the
significance of this mantra and when to chant this. What are the benefits of
this mantra and if chanted when will this show its effect.
Niradhara Marie rplies:
Om kaamdevaaya vidmahe Pushpabaanaaya dhimahi Tannonangaa
prachodayaat.
You can chant this mantra at any time but after a bath or shower is best.
Light an incense and candle or ghee lamp to focus your attention. Use
a mala to count 108 times.
The sincerity of the chanter and the time and attention devoted to
the process will determine the outcome. a mantra trains the mind.
man = mind and tra = training (as for protection and strengthening the
mind) this is Sanskrit, the ancient language of the science of
vibration of sound - it is the grandmother of NLP neuro-linguistic
pathways. it is metaphysics not magic. As your brain chemistry
changes from the chanting, your energy fields (kosas) changes and
affects the energy of your partner whose body also undergoes these
positive changes. The willingness and openness of your partner will
also have a determining factor. So no definite time frame can be
given. Trust in the process and OM Shantih.

SANSKRIT
Sanskrit
believes that the sound of the word never gets ruined and that it has an
everlasting value.
Words
in Sanskrit open out from their seed (beej) form.
A
root is always a single syllable that contains one of the basic sounds a, I,
u, ri
The
root or seed may create a word, yet the word will vibrate to its best, and
gives it tremendous power.
The
Vedic or the Sanskrit view gives more importance to the special sound it
should produce, than to the meaning of the spoken word.
Surrender
In
Spiritual parlance, we are often told to ‘surrender’
What
does 'surrendering’ mean?
I
once read that if you have a chipped tile on your ceiling that irritates you.
You
can do three things.
You
can change the tile, change the room, or accept the broken tile.
In
Life, one also has 3 options:
1.
Change what one does not like.
2.
Give up what one does not like.
3.
Accept what one does not like.
This
‘acceptance’ is called ‘surrender’
You
will be surprised to learn that many will not take any of the 3 options given
above. And you know why? Because they prefer to continue playing the martyr.
People like to talk ad nauseam about the problems they have in their lives.
Give them the above 3 options and they will not take any because they will not
take responsibility for their lives and the outcome of their actions.
Ask
yourself: “Are you enjoying what you are doing?”
The
reason why you are not enjoying what you are doing may be, because your
attention is more focused on the result of your action rather than on the act
itself. Which means that you are living more in the future than in the present
moment.
Accept
the act of the moment. Give it your full awareness! And leave the result at
the feet of the Almighty.
Contrary
to popular belief ‘surrendering to the situation’ does not imply weakness.
Accepting
the role of a martyr does.
The
use of brakes is more advisable to save oneself, rather than stepping on the
accelerator and charge headlong into a disaster!
Resistance
to what is (After having done ones best to change it) gives rise to stress and
pain.
This
does not mean that one should not do, what one should be doing to improve the
situation. But if there is nothing more that can be done on ones part, this
moment, then one must go for a walk and enjoy the breeze and the butterflies!
I
heard in a lecture : "Jab log poochhey ki kyon hai, to hanskar javaab
do, ki bas yoon hai”
Loosely
(not literally), it implies to accept the present moment.
When
people ask: “Why me?” I say “Why
not you? Who has said that you have immunity towards this problem?”
In
the Bhagvad Geeta Krishna
expounds the Supreme Philosophy to Arjuna.
After
having explained in detail about the various Paths of Spiritualism: Gyaan
(Knowledge) Bhakti (Devotion), Karma and Dhyaan (Meditation). Arjuna is still
not clear about his path of action. Krishna then, urges Arjuna to have full
faith and surrender.
Krishna
promises:
‘Sarva
dharmam, parityajya, maamekam sharanam vraja,
Aham twaa sarva paapebhyo, moksha yishyaami maa shuchah’
Which
means:
Resign
all duties and take refuge only in Me.
Grieve not, for I shall absolve you from all sins!
Please
note that Krishna wants Arjuna to wage the war, Krishna does not wish that
Arjuna ‘escape’ the situation. Krishna advises Arjuna to fight to the best
of his capacity and surrender the results to the Lord.
Even
in the pursuit of Spiritualism, a pilgrim reaches a point of ‘surrender’
(The
following is an excerpt from Shree Morari Bapu’s series of discourses called
Nisaadhanta,
which I have translated)
‘When
a pilgrim feels he has failed after trying every prescribed means to reach the
Lord, he cries out in despair. Tears well up in his eyes, and he feels the
pangs of separation from the Lord.
He
now feels he can do nothing more in his sadhana (Spiritual Pursuit).
This
feeling of helplessness when all means fail, Mahaprabhuji calls ‘Nisaadhanta’.
Bhagwan Ramanuj calls this state ‘Tap’ and it is called ‘Vyaakulta’ by
Caitanya Mahaaprabhu. The devotee now consciously surrenders to the Lord.’
One
can surrender to whatever each moment brings. If the moment brings pain or
fear, also do not resist it. Watch it and feel it. Without judging.
I
have read that negativity is dark. Your Consciousness is light.
Light
and darkness cannot coexist.
PRAYER
OF SURRENDER.
The following prayer I received
printed on a paper with a photograph of Satya Sai Baba (I do not know who it
was written by. Shall be happy to give credit, to who it is due)

Painting
by Krishn Kanhai
Why get agitated? Let Me take care of your
business. I shall be the One who will think about them. I am waiting for
nothing else than your surrender to Me. I intervene only when you know how to
completely surrender to Me, then
you do not have to worry anymore about anything. Say farewell to all fears and
discouragement. You demonstrate that you do not trust Me. On the contrary, you
must rely blindly on Me.
To surrender means: to turn your thoughts away from all
your problems. Leave everything into My hands saying : Lord! Thy will be done,
Thou think of it. That is to say :Lord I thank You for You have taken
everything in Your hands and You will resolve this for my highest good.
Remember that thinking of the consequences of a thing is
contrary to surrender; that is to say when you worry that a situation has not
had the desired outcome. You thus demonstrate that you don’t believe in My
love for you. You will prove that you don’t consider your life to be under
My control and that nothing escapes me.
Never think: how is this going to end? What is going to
happen? If you give into this temptation You demonstrate that you don’t
trust Me. Do you want Me to deal with it, yes or no? Then you must stop being
anxious about it. I shall guide you only if you completely surrender to Me and
when I must lead you into a different path than the one you expect, I carry
you in My arms.
What seriously upsets you is your reasoning, your
worrying, your obsession and your will to provide for yourselves at any price.
I can do so many things when the being, as much in his material necessities as
in his spiritual ones turns to me saying; You think of it, and rests quietly
closing his eyes. You will receive a lot, but only when your prayer will fully
rely upon Me. You pray to me when in pain so that I will intervene, but in the
way you desire it. You do not rely on Me, but you want Me to adjust to your
requests.
Don’t believe like sick ones who ask the doctor to
treat, all the time suggesting the treatment to him. Do not do that, but
rather, even in sad circumstances say: Lord! I praise and thank you for this
problem, for this necessity. I pray to you to arrange things as You please for
this terrestrial and temporal life. You know very well what is best for me.
Sometimes you feel that disasters increase instead of
diminishing! Don’t get agitated. Close your eyes and tell Me with faith: Thy
will be done. Thou think of it. And when you thus speak, I even accomplish a
miracle when necessary. I only think of it when you trust Me totally. I always
think of you, but I can only help you completely when you rely fully on Me.
